RENO, Nev. – Grassroots activist and constitutional attorney Joey Gilbert has endorsed fiscal watchdog Drew Johnson for Nevada State Treasurer.
Gilbert is a longtime Nevada attorney, entrepreneur, community advocate, and former professional boxer. A graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, he has built a prominent statewide following through his legal work, political involvement, and grassroots advocacy on behalf of individual liberty, limited government, and constitutional rights.
Johnson has spent his career exposing government waste, promoting transparency, and protecting taxpayers. His work with lawmakers and public-policy organizations has helped produce billions of dollars in taxpayer savings while building a national reputation as a leading government watchdog.
As State Treasurer, Johnson will bring that same commitment to Nevada by safeguarding taxpayer funds, strengthening the state’s financial standing, modernizing the unclaimed-property system, and demanding greater accountability for every public dollar.
Responding to the endorsement, Drew Johnson said:
“Joey Gilbert has earned the trust of grassroots conservatives across Nevada by standing up for constitutional freedoms and refusing to back down when government oversteps its authority. I’m honored to have his endorsement and grateful for his commitment to our campaign. I look forward to bringing stronger oversight, transparency, and conservative financial leadership to the Nevada’s Treasurer’s Office.”
Gilbert’s endorsement adds to the growing coalition of conservative leaders, grassroots activists, and taxpayer advocates supporting Johnson’s campaign for Nevada State Treasurer.
