Lieutenant Governor Stavros Anthony Endorses Drew Johnson for Nevada State Treasurer

July 23, 2026

Las Vegas – Nevada Lieutenant Governor Stavros Anthony has endorsed fiscal watchdog and conservative policy expert Drew Johnson for Nevada State Treasurer.

Anthony has spent decades serving Nevada through law enforcement and public office. Before becoming lieutenant governor, he served with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, represented Nevadans on the Board of Regents, and served on the Las Vegas City Council. As lieutenant governor, Anthony works on issues affecting tourism, transportation, economic development, outdoor recreation, public safety, and state government accountability.

Johnson has spent his career exposing government waste, advocating for taxpayers, and advancing policies that bring greater accountability and transparency to government. As State Treasurer, he will bring that same conservative approach to safeguarding Nevada’s finances, lowering costs for taxpayers, returning unclaimed property, and ensuring state government remains accountable to the people it serves.

Responding to the endorsement, Drew Johnson said:

“Lieutenant Governor Stavros Anthony has devoted his career to serving Nevada and protecting the people of our state. I’m honored to have his endorsement and proud to stand alongside a conservative leader who understands the importance of public safety, responsible government, and putting Nevadans first. As State Treasurer, I’ll work to protect taxpayers, strengthen Nevada’s financial future, and bring greater accountability to the way our state manages the people’s money.”
