Statement by Drew Johnson on Winning the Republican Nomination for Clark County Commission, District F
Thank you to the voters of Clark County’s District F for choosing me as your Republican nominee!
At this point, our campaign is ahead by more votes than the number of outstanding mail-in ballots expected in our race.
I am proud that our optimistic message of personal freedoms and limited government resonated with voters across the district.
I am thankful for every person who voted for me, donated to our campaign, knocked doors, made phone calls, attended an event, put out a yard sign and supported us with kind words.
My opponents ran vigorous campaigns that will prepare me well for what promises to be a tough battle in November.
To the people who did not vote for me in this primary, please rest assured that I will represent our shared Republican principles in the general election and once elected to the Clark County Commission.
To Republican voters who did not participate in the primary election, I know there is concern about our elections and frustration about the direction Clark County is headed.
Please know that a Republican Wave is coming, but only if you become engaged. There are more Republicans than ever working to ensure we can be confident in our elections. And we have an amazing slate of Republican candidates who will win in November if you do your part by showing up to the voting booth.
I will work tirelessly to become the first Republican Clark County Commissioner since 2008, and I encourage you to join our team and help make that a reality. Please visit DrewForNevada.com to volunteer or to donate to our campaign.
